If you get the following error
when Uninstalling McAfee, '' McAfee Agent cannot be removed while it’s in
managed mode'', do the following;
- Click Start, Run, cmd ( run As Administrator) and type the following commands:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\Common Framework
frminst.exe /forceuninstall
NOTE: The path will vary depending on the version and whether you installed McAfee Agent as an upgrade or clean install. Use Windows Explorer to determine the correct path.
( in windows 10 : C:\Program Files\McAfee\Agent\x86)

- Restart the system to remove McAfee Agent processes from memory and complete the deletion of file.
